It all started with our own family which includes 8 kids (Ok, they aren't kids anymore!) along with 5 grandchildren. We begin your portrait creations with what we refer to as a design consultation. Though sometimes we do this over the phone, we much prefer doing this in person. A really good portrait needs to capture more than just your image: it must capture your families personalities - those subtle intereactions that exist. The best way we can equip ourselves to do this for you is to simply talk with you. We enjoy getting to know you, learning about your likes and dislikes, what goals you have for your portrait session, for your spouse, children or grandchildren.
When you arrive for your portraits, you will find us very cooperative with scene construction, poses, and clothing changes. You won't feel rushed to get done. We want you to have more than simply a record of a particular moment in time. Rather, we hope to create for you a series of portraits that will allow you to remember the important things that your family is really all about.
Our "Scene Machine" offers you so much choice. We have over 100 backgrounds that you can choose to customize your experience. And we are adding new ones every month. You can select from traditional backgrounds, or a more modern type. We can even create customized backrounds for you! It's all up to you.
